If you are a facility manager or you are an expert from the building /indoor air quality (IAQ) related industry, we would like to invite you to join the Canadian Committee on Indoor Air Quality (CCIAQ).
The CCIAQ is an independent committee, hosted by NRC, and funded by the Government of Canada under the initiative “Addressing Air Pollution”. The goal of this committee is to improve indoor air quality in buildings, and ultimately, the health of occupants, by providing a national forum and clearinghouse for ‘best-of-knowledge’ information on the design and operations of buildings as they affect indoor air quality. The CCIAQ works to the benefit of facility managers and other lay audiences, giving them best scientific and actionable advice. The CCIAQ also wishes to contribute to the accelerated uptake of novel, energy-efficient, and safe IAQ solutions.
We are dedicated to enhancing the membership with experts from various backgrounds; ideally, new members will come from industry, IAQ-related stakeholder associations, or are facility managers. Experts from all regions of Canada are invited to apply.
Candidates from other countries may contribute as well, and obtain an observer/non-voting member status, or can act as a liaison person if they are members of relevant organizations.
If you are interested in contributing to this diverse and dynamic committee, you can send your resume along with a short bio directly to: mitra.bahri@nrc-cnrc.gc.ca
The members are selected and appointed based on their credentials, not based on their affiliation.
The full committee will decide about the acceptance of new members.
You may find more about the CCIAQ on our website: https://lnkd.in/
